Is laundry loveable?

There are many activities in life which are easily classified into the category of 'chores'.  Chores are not our favourite past time, but they are one of life's necessities - and when they are complete, we are left to enjoy the fruits of our labour.

Laundry is one of those chores.  Laundry is always waiting, building and growing and if ignored, it can become a wave of clothes and items spilling out from the laundry basket or scattered over floors, thrown over chairs and under hiding under beds.  The only way to tame the laundry beast it is to keep a watchful eye on it, like training a puppy!

Laundry, the cycle:  There's the gathering of all the dirty laundry scattered willy nilly around the place, then there's the sorting... the whites, the darks, the delicates, the really dirty (needing the sluice) and the dreaded hand washing.  [tip: do your utmost to avoid buying clothes which require hand washing!].

Once the sorting is out of the way it's trying to cram as much into the washing machine as possible.  If you don't have to rush up to the supermarket because you've run out of powder you can press the magic button and sit back with a cuppa.  It's time for the washing machine to do it's part.  One of best inventions, don't you think?

Your cup of tea never tasted so good!  ...

Laundry - like it or not, it's not going away so best to make good friends!

Once you've dried all your laundry on your smart Ezyline all that's left is the folding.  Is that the worst part?  Because it could be looked upon as the best part - here you have all these wonderful clean clothes and you can smile knowing that you - and you alone - created this wonderful freshness ready to go back into your cupboard and begin the cycle of laundry once again!
